SYCEBNL is the OHADA Uniform Act on accounting for nonprofit entities, adopted in 2023. It standardizes how associations, professional orders, development projects, and foundations in OHADA member states keep accounts and present financial statements.
It defines a chart of accounts (plan de comptes), the treatment of donations (dons), membership dues (cotisations) and restricted funds (fonds affectés), and the statements each entity must produce — including a simplified Système Minimal de Trésorerie (SMT).
